Workshop CT imaging in radiotherapy
Welcome to the Second Annual CT Imaging Workshop: Elevating Precision in Radiotherapy!
Why attend?
Are you involved with CT imaging and eager to exchange insights while learning from others? This year, we've tweaked our program to include more overarching presentations and discussions. Additionally, participants have the flexibility to choose from a variety of in-depth and hands-on sessions tailored to specific topics.
What's in it for you?
As techniques like VMAT and particle therapy take center stage, the demand for top-notch imaging has intensified. CT manufacturers have heeded this call, unveiling advanced technologies like dual-energy CT (DECT), spectral CT, 4DCT in various forms, iterative reconstructions, and many additional features. Yet, there's a crucial piece missing: the smooth integration of these advancements into clinical practice. In this workshop, we aim to disseminate information, bringing together different specialists and providing ample opportunity for participants to discuss their challenges.
Why this workshop?
Our workshop, hosted at Maastro, blends the seasoned expertise of the Maastro team with the wisdom of national and international experts from leading institutions. Prepare for insightful lectures, along with hands-on, focused sessions exploring specialized topics like quantitative imaging, 4DCT, and AI. Medical physicists will have the opportunity to fine-tune their understanding of key CT features and their impact in the clinical setting. Researchers will also find a welcoming space for cross-institutional collaboration, all while exploring the latest and greatest in technology.
Invited speakers
What also makes this workshop intriguing is the roster of invited speakers who bring a wealth of experience and insights to the table. Stay tuned for updates on our esteemed lineup!
What's different this year?
This year's workshop has been structured with an improved and more tailored model, building upon the success and feedback from last year's event. Besides the general group presentations and lectures, we've introduced a new feature allowing participants to select from an in-depth session more aligned with their interests. Additionally, we've extended and enhanced our hands-on sessions to foster greater interaction and engagement and increased the maximum number of participants, which now allows for group sessions on specific content.
We can't wait to welcome you to Maastro!
