Available projects at MAASTRO Clinic - 2012
MAASTRO CLINIC is a radiotherapy treatment and research facility embedded within Maastricht University (www.maastro.nl). Research carried out in the past has focused on molecular PET/CT imaging and dose guided radiotherapy (DGRT). MAASTRO CLINIC is fully equipped with linear accelerators, verification imaging devices, a brachytherapy suite, a PET-CT scanner, a wide bore CT scanner, many treatment planning stations etc. Together with MAASTRO lab we installed a small animal irradiation/imaging facility. MAASTRO collaborates with various other universities such as Eindhoven, Toronto, Montreal, Leuven, Amsterdam. Maastro Clinic is offering several graduation projects for 2012-13. The title of the projects is given below. Some of these projects may be done as a MSc thesis student in engineering or technical medicine (approximately 10 months), or as a shorter project. Persons interested in projects should check the details in the project descriptions below. For general information, please contact Floor Franssen (floor.franssen@maastro.nl).
