Our employees form the backbone of our patient care and scientific research. In order to achieve our ambitions over the next few years, we not only invest in the organisation by means of care lines, but we also invest in our staff. Our philosophy is to give employees the space to develop creative ideas. The involvement of our employees is also pivotal to our research into and implementation of improved treatment methods. After all, people support what they help create! At MAASTRO Clinic we are continually working towards improving communication and consultation with our employees, and increasing their level of involvement.

Every employee at MAASTRO Clinic is given the opportunity to fully use and develop their skills. Employees are involved and challenged to contribute to the realisation of the aims of our institute. We strive to achieve an optimal balance between the organisational needs and the needs of individual employees, in order to create a win-win situation: a balance in which the uniqueness of our organisation and the uniqueness of the employee can be fully expressed, but where the needs of the patient come first.

It is of great importance that we retain qualified employees and that we sufficiently attract new employees. MAASTRO Clinic continues to attract qualified employees. The (regional) labour market is very dynamic, however. Scarcity is beginning to develop and is already leading to tensions between competing healthcare organisations. Only through our high-quality working conditions with regard to task content, independence, variation, career options, work environment, and financial reward can we continue to compete with other national and international organisations. The starting point for staff management is to a large extent determined by the demand for care, care content, and the organisational context. In practice, this means that tasks and duties are constantly developing and changing as a result of the continuous redevelopment of the care process.
