Eurostars Achievement Award for two MAASTRO clinic research divisions | 10 oktober 2018

During the Innovation Expo “Global challenges, Dutch solutions” in Rotterdam on October 4th, MAASTRO clinic’s research divisions Physics Research and Knowledge Engineering received an Achievement Award from Eurostars

Eurostars is a European joint programme co-funded from the national budgets of 36 EU countries and by the European Union through Horizon 2020. The Achievement Award underlines the highly successful research projects that MAASTRO clinic is performing, together with commercial partners such as MedPhoton, Sohard and Mirada, on innovative imaging systems, image analysis tools and prognostic models for better cancer outcome. “All Eurostars projects at MAASTRO aim to really get new ideas applied in the clinic. They allow us to translate our research into improved outcomes of our patients.”, Prof. Frank Verhaegen and Prof. Andre Dekker state.


Eurostars supports international innovative projects led by research and development- performing small- and medium-sized enterprises (R&D-performing SMEs).
