Brachytherapy boosting for organ preservation in rectal cancer

Organ-preserving treatment strategies are rapidly changing the management of rectal cancer, offering selected patients the opportunity to avoid major surgery without compromising oncological outcomes. During this 1.5-day International Clinical School, leading experts will share the latest evidence and practical experience with endoluminal boost techniques, combining interactive lectures, multidisciplinary case discussions and hands-on training. Participants will gain in-depth insight into patient selection, Watch-and-Wait strategies, dose escalation and clinical decision-making, while acquiring practical experience with the two leading endoluminal boost techniques: the MAASTRO HDR applicator and Papillon CXB 50 kV.

Course Faculty 

The course will be taught by experts from Maastro and collaborating specialists in rectal cancer care. Faculty includes specialists in radiation oncology, radiology, surgery, medical oncology, gastroenterology.
